Genre- Act II; Scene 12- The Law of Unintended Consequences

Genre- Act II; Scene 12- *Script notes read...

Tone- Epideictic, maybe deliberative

Cast of Seven Characters-
  • praise
  • blame
  • value
  • informative
  • aiming
  • current
  • importance
Costumes-

Colorful; too dull?
Flamboyant as hell
Hats to the brim
Shoes as weapons,
but must fit well
*in-list true artists, who make to order, or all pay hell

surably...
possibly...

Act II, Prologue-

Unexplainable
Unbelievable
No chorus
No curtains
Boring as all get out...

Opening Night- *whispering audience

Who are the players
if the performance is dead
No audience remains to be seated
Critics work until late hours
filling pages with empty words
Writers pay no attention
to what has been heard
Rewrites, and fists
life on stage left to the imagination

-not epic
-not lyric
-not even dramatic

End Genre- Act II; Scene 12

Morning Editions Reviews-

Dead in the water, before lights came on, but the show must go on say investors...

'He cannot leave the table for which there were no more invitations, so he lurks in her shadowy stage. Notes scribbled, left about, are discovered, but there will never be room for either...'

I am playing with a poetry form...

Cool. Very inspired...makes me think "what the He*#" and "Woa, rockin'" all at the same time. :) ...you know I mean this as a good thing, right?

I like it so far. I'm calling it The Law of Unintended Consequences....since I've already made up my own story based upon what you've provided. ~Mary

This is really intriguing.

Sometimes I wish that I could form a true writers' group with some of my blogging buddies, because I enjoy this kind of piece (the kind where not everything is there on the surface) the most when I sit down and dissect it for a critique.

I did that for a piece Steven G wrote once and he responded, "I've just realized a life-long fantasy -- to attend my own autopsy."

But blogging is more about speed and volume, less about rethinking and refining....
