Friday Shoot Out- Paint The Town Red

This weeks theme is 'Red', but right now I am making plans to paint Dallas, Texas when I arrive in a few weeks...

'...and they are still with you even when they leave this earth...!'

Well I did not have to go far to paint my town...I wore a lovely shade of red from last Friday to this past Tuesday, and have been shaking it off ever since.

My car went missing in front of the school where I teach culinary classes each week. Yep, just not in the spot I left it. I was in shock, but by the time I had to deal with everything...all I could see was red, but a surprisingly calmer shade of red than usual. We found it, I got it back, so all is fine, it just left me days behind in my work. 'Ketch' up is over, and red...

I decided since I was behind on my week, I had to improvise and use photos already taken around my town from last year to the past few days. They are connected with memories of more soothing and humorous shades of red.

'This is Super Pup, and he rode in the convertible to my cafe every Saturday...'

I am all about words, and being passionate and compassionate in all that we do in this life...

If you want to join us in our fun Friday Shoot Out, all you have to do is look for the theme that will be added later, and at the end of this post, so come back and see what was picked for next week! Go check out some of the other posts below...

A very interesting collection of "red" pictures, a bit of this and that made it nice. If I have my info right, you are from NJ? I live in Germany but am a jersey gal thru and thru! I miss it there very much. Take care, I will be back, Debby

You came up with something brilliant...just as I knew you would my lovely. What a pretty snapshot of you Chef E......both before and after the wine, lol.
My snapshot of Levi with the cupcake all over his face might have made you laugh but you thinking he was MY son made me laugh even louder. Girl please.....at this stage in my life I would hurl myself into a volcano.........
Levi is in my Awana clas that I teach on Wednesday nights and he is such a character. He wants to be a chef........I kid you not. He's a scream and makes me laugh hysterically every single week.
I do wish I loved closer so that we could maybe all get together.....I'm quite a long way from Maryland though :(
I have really been thinking about trying to organize a little half way get together for several of us sometime later in the summer. A girl think you know??? I wonder how many people we could get to participate if we tried to book something at a reasonable place. I just know it would be a blast!!
I can't tell you how often I use you as an example in my own organic veggie business and my catering. Girl, you're an inspiration to me. Know that......
