Friday Shoot Out- Rainbow of Color

This weeks Friday Shoot Out is 'Colors of the Rainbow', and honestly I have been on a trek through some West Texas towns to chronicle my family genealogy on my fathers side, and visit his cousins that might not be alive if I do not return for a few more years.

If you have ever visited that part of the country during the hot summer months of Texas; then you will know that all you see is dry muted color along the way.

Rainbows of color remain in the eye of the beholder...

Down in the south...we just let sleeping dogs lie...

Sometimes we can put on our 'Rainbow' glasses...

Our world is truly a very colorful place...

even in the 'just north of the border' places...

If you want to join us in our fun Friday Shoot Out, all you have to do is look for the theme that will be added later, and at the end of this post, so come back and see what was picked for next week! Go check out some of the other posts below...

Some one please feed the poor dog? He looks like he hasn't had a feed for days. May be you can smuggle some food from your kitchen for him.

I like the rainbow vases.

Elizabeth, with all of the work I'm doing trying to keep the links curren, it takes me until Wednesday, usually to visit everyone. I try to make comments on each blog before the week is out. I always enjoy your posts because you have that artists eye.
Thank you for being a member of the gang.

Elizabeth, I also wanted to mention that there were a tremendous number of our members that were here from Reggie Girls influence. When she left so abruptly, with no thank you's or good bye's there could have been a few upset shooters. I dropped about 12 from the list last week. We do continue to get new members almost every day. Continue to visit others and I'm sure they will se the enjoyment of your blog in return. You have been one of the faithfuls.

When I was small, I used to wake up early Saturday morning, when the test pattern was on the television. When the broadcasting started for the day, I forget the network, likely NBC or CBS, they always sang The Yellow Rose of Texas. Being little, I always imagined Texas to be full of yellow roses. I carried yellow roses in my wedding bouquet. I saw a picture of Lady Bird Johnson's rose garden and she had yellow roses. It is great to see other colours in Texas. I liked the glass.=D
