Friday Shoot Out- Random
Friday Shoot Out Assignment this week- 'Random', so I decided to take photos of a beautiful day while walking in Bordentown, New Jersey. We have had like many of the fellow Shoot Out blogs, lots of grey skies and rain fall. Even as I type this post is been gloomy the past few days.
In case your interested this is the site of the 'foot incident' that has laid me up for the whole week!
I love old towns with lots of history, so I just kept walking like a trouper, and saw things like- barber shop poles... They remind me of times gone past, and when my own grandfather owned an old junk yard where I would look for treasures...
Where Mom and Pop stores, and boutiques still thrive...
Where old banks are turned into...
...a place were sweeties can share an ice cream...
Where humor and beauty meet, well, we met earlier on...
Vinyl and plastic still exist...
Retro lights up the night sky...
Lovely retro decor that could take off your head...
Hey, Peter Tork is coming July 11th, so be sure and get that ticket...
I did some sky watching, just like Girlichef posted on her new lovely site, Off-topic...
If you look close you should see the beautiful swan I did...
Seagulls are pretty far from the ocean, as if they fell from the sky...
Thanks for coming along with me on my walk, as we ended at a Farmers Market, and on to a AWS Wine Tasting dinner in Columbus, New Jersey...

Summer is beginning to blossom. I loved going along on your walk. It's tricky to capture a swan cloud. Great work. Hope you are keeping well. Your phootsies and lemon people were so funny. Thanks for sharing!=D
I'm a fan (to use a pun) of retro as well. Thanks for the tour around, and for the barber pole. I don't think there is one left here!
I think there's a horror movie script lurking in that ceiling fan.... What a find!
why does Robert look like he's scared of the ice cream! LMAO!
Feel better soon!
I love that ceiling fan. I love anything retro!
Great randomness. I enjoyed each and every photo.
I think I recognized one of those seagulls. He sure looks a like a Crisfield seagull.
Have a great Sunday.
