FSO- Interesting Signs is Up!!!

This weeks post is 'Interesting Signs'...

If you are in my neck of the woods you can easily see which way is which. I live forward, work to the left, and we love to visit the place to the right...

If you look down Rout US-1 you can see sign after sign after sign; so many that I find myself distracted by them, and am surprised we do not have more wrecks going on!

Some signs have a fashion sense, or do they?

This is a sign in one of the shops downtown, but I am not quite sure it scares anyone away, because isn't that the character that all you have to do is throw water on her green self and she begins to say "I'm melting, I'm melting"....

Some signs are bad signs...like this used to be just a week ago two restaurants existed, and now an empty lot...

I like this sign of the times...you can plug your car in...

I do not think they are getting their message across, or low sales on the bikes until they mow their yard!

I had to turn around and go back to take this photo, and thought that maybe by the time some one slows down enough to read it (I zoomed in to get the shot) the dog might be in trouble!

I had posted this with the 'M' shoot out, but its worth another look!

I really did try and look for interesting signs, and believe me, there are plenty of signs, just not very interesting as the Muskrat, and when you need them. After this I will probably see plenty of them...

Thanks for joining me in my signage post, and go check out the others who also share in this Friday Shoot Out each Friday. Take the Friday Shoot Out Camera below and use it on your site as a short cut to our main FSO site!

That dog sign is pretty small, and the muskrat sign is still amusing!

I couldn't interpret that one with the dog on it. That looked kinda wackity.

Blueviolet- I have seen 'Warning deaf kids playing in the street, but not one that warns you about a dog...I would keep it on a line leash or in the back yard, my sons dog was hit in the street and they say they never learn from that experience and will do it again...was strange to me too!

I was watching Gordon ramsay and thought of you. Today, he showed how blood was traditionally cooked in black pudding. Though he won't eat it.

Do you cook with blood?

When I was young, we reared our chicken, ducks and the occasional pig. Mum cooked blood.

Traditionally, among the Chinese, barbers and hair dressers eat blood once a week, it cleanse their blood, otherwise they would get cancer.

The sign I had was from Australia, my brother in law visiting there thought it was so funny.

You had some interesting signs. My daughter had a Dorothy obsession when she was little. There are days when I could have used that flying monkey sign! I loved your sexy looking signs of the evening!
ooh-la-la! =D .
Thank you for stopping by my shoot out. As soon as we got to the marina I kept thinking of Patty. This was a fun shoot. I will pick up a camera.

Love the "flying monkeys" sign, too.

This is too funny...Would you believe that I hadn't even noticed the camera button, until you replied to my comment on the other blog?? hahaha {sorry}

Honestly, I wasn't completely "with it" as far as the who's to contact or the administrators until recently. So, now I know :)

I absolutely love the flying monkey sign.

I have never seen a muskrat sign and we have a lot of muskrats in Maryland. Once a year you can find muskrat on the menus in some restaurants in Maryland - not in our town, thank goodness. I think some town even has a festival and a muskrat queen or something. Yuk.

I always enjoy road signs.

Great job, ChefE.

Keep yourself signed in as me. I won't have to work so hard next week. That was too funny.

Have a great week and keep up the good work.

Batten down the hatches. The storm is headed your way.
