tsondoku

That word is tsundoku (Japanese) and its definition is as follows: (n.) the act of buying books and not reading them and/or letting books pile up unread on shelves or floors or nightstands.

It is beginning again. I barely finished the books I purchased in March at AWP, and this weekend I attended (organized)  two huge events with poets and musicians who had books and CD's for sale.

Things went well with WAMPP on Saturday. Both days had rain, but we all survived.

"It literally rained poetry all weekend, and many of us walked away drenched." - EAS

I love that the Japanese have a word to describe that.
