FSO- Faces & Smiles

"I am really thrilled to offer up the theme this week "Faces and Smiles". I am a Mom of five, artist and teacher. Running my own preschool... I get lots of opportunities to shoot happy faces. I have discovered that I have a passion for catching faces when folks are not looking, fun, candid shots", says Sarah...

I decided to post pics from my open mic- Cultural Art Expression. I usually coach people telling them to try and smile more when they sing, but mostly they look like they are stressed or pulling a muscle...

Rich, Sue & Me at A&B open mic ~     My assistant Ang at my house ~   Cultural Art Expression Open Mic

We now have three locations- Its A Grind Coffee House, Plainsboro; Grovers Mill Coffee House, West Windsor, and Classic Books, Trenton, New Jersey. They are with in miles of each other here in the Princeton area. A great way to come and hear spoken word poetry and musician singers of all kinds, and for free! That outta make you smile!  Ang my assistant for the past six months is doing her internship by helping me out with food related quests. She and I always have a good laugh when we are hanging out. She is moving to Delaware with her soon to be hubby, and that is going to make me, well, not so happy, but we are happy for her!

Thanks for joining me for our Friday Shoot Out, and go check out the others you will find @ FSO

It looks as if you and I really do enjoy the same things, Chef E! You could tell your singers that smiling will help them stay on pitch, which it will. ;>)

So you sing, too?! Looks like a warm, fun, atmosphere you're in here.

Please don't take me off the sidebar list...I can't keep myself away. Next time I think of walking away, I'll just pass on that Friday instead.

Thanks for understanding my inability to balance some days :)

When I sing I look like one of those pulled-muscle people.

Looks like a fun event. My poetry is on the Vogon level, so I'll spare you.

Chef E, reading the first line of your post made me wonder how you can still manage your life being a mom of five, artist and running a pre-school. You must be so energetic and you are so smart to manage your time. I am poor in managing my own time that's why. That vocalist was smiling while singing. He followed your advice i guess. Thanks for sharing the photos of faces and smile.

OMG. I thought the first line was yours. I realized it was sarah's paragraph. SOrry Chef E. My mistake. SO embarrassing.

Hey ChefE...So sorry I have been MIA. I'm working with no internet, and very limited capabilities on a ancient computer at my apartment.

I just had to say that I ADORE Fort Worth, so far I have found nothing to dislike about it - and Texas in general!

And what smiles you have captured.

Sounds like you have more than one talent. I can't sign a note. Well, I can, but the cats run and hide.
